Had an amazing ride to Llundain, mind. Was a bit lazy, set out Thurs at
4pm and kipped in Chippenham, which allowed me to have a very leisurely
ride to the smoke on Friday. Looked up Arturo, an Andean fellow I met at Womad this past summer (lo conoci desde el momento que lo vi, me acerque y pregunte "eres andino, no?"), he kindly let me stay the night. His little daughter was quite puzzled to see me at the breakfast table in the morn.
Best pasty ever in Marlborough, from a
local butcher's, made the grave error of asking if it was "like a Cornish
pasty" the look i got was priceless. Beautiful weather on both days. Stopped to say hello to Tony and Jola in Ealing, and a delicious meal,
dziękuję, תודה
Went down to Whitehall for the final stage of the Tour of Britain yesterday, great atmosphere,
unfortunately rained for the last half hour or so. Next summer i'll ride the whole way in one day...
